  • UNIVERSITY RESEARCH – units in Auckland and Canterbury Universities. TimberLab has been involved in various testing regimes in exploring new possibilities with engineered timber.

  • NZ TRADE & ENTERPRISE – TimberLab works closely with NZT&E in developing and exploring international possibilities for engineered timber projects.

  • SEMINARS – TimberLab is a regular contributor at technical seminars, bringing insights from manufacturing and build-ability viewpoints.

  • TECHNICAL PRESENTATIONS –TimberLab is regularly called on to present at conferences, seminars and design groups, in New Zealand and overseas. Around 60% of our production is for the international market.

  • UNIVERSITY & TERTIARY – TimberLab is actively involved in working with Schools of Architecture and Engineering in Auckland and Christchurch. We provide lectures and presentations as well as hosting groups of students to our plant to further their understanding of engineered timber. The same service is provided to other Tertiary institutions and Poly-techs.
